Hoopsii Harmony is the musical partnership of harpist Alaina Bongers and flutist Rebecca Quillen, two Colorado natives whose shared love of expressive, heartfelt performance brought them together at Colorado State University. What began as a friendship quickly grew into a lasting artistic collaboration, blending the shimmering resonance of harp with the lyrical voice of flute.

Alaina holds both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Harp Performance from CSU and performs widely throughout the Front Range with orchestras, wind symphonies, choirs, and theater companies. She is also the founder and artistic director of the Northern Colorado Summer Harp Festival and an active teacher and arts leader.

Rebecca earned her degree in Music Performance from CSU, studying flute with Michelle Stanley. She has taught flute and piano for more than 20 years and remains connected to the flute community through the Colorado Flute Association and the National Flute Association.

Together as Hoopsii Harmony, Alaina and Rebecca bring warmth, elegance, and artistry to every performance. Recent appearances include the Estes Park Book Lovers Ball. The duo especially loves playing for weddings, intimate gatherings, and life celebrations of all kinds.

When they’re not performing, Alaina can be found directing harp ensembles and teaching in Loveland, while Rebecca enjoys life with her children, time outdoors, and practicing martial arts. Their shared joy in music — and in bringing people together through it — is at the heart of Hoopsii Harmony.
